Review 

How the wolf lost her heart starts in Londen, but not the Londen from now. It is set in the future and it's one big mess. Thugs rule the land, it isn't safe to walk outdoors, thugs start fires and mug people. 

One of the inhabitans in the future Londen is Skye.

Skye is a girl that's in her twenties. She works at a customar service agency and she 'loves' her job. Ok, not really, she wants to travel and see the world but she doesn't has enough money. 

Skye isn't a normal girl, she is known as a morpher, a person who can change into his/her spirit animal at will. But not a lot of people know about her ability .

One day, when she is walking home she gets mugged by the local thugs. But she is 'saved' by Raphael. He is also a morpher. She isn't to keen on that because she could've easily saved herself. 

That's the beginning of the story of Skye and Raphael.

The thing I liked the most is that you really see Skye grow in the book. 

I did like the plot, it was refreshing from other stories that I've read. I haven't read any dystopian  books, mostly there not my kind of books. But I did like this one. 

But for me some events could have been written ith a little more detail. 

I love how there are shifters (morphers), that's one of my favorite subject to read. 

Morphers are a kind of shifters and they change into their spirit animal. But how is that animal chosen?

Why are there not many morphers (anymore)? What is the history of the morphers?? Why are there people that can't morph?

Overall I did like the book and I would read the sequel when it comes out. The only downside for me was that some things weren't explained and I had a lot of unanswerd questions like:

How did Londen become like this?

What happende to trigger the war of a couple of year ago?

What is the history between the two family's?
...

I would have been nice if some of these things where explained in the first book. I think that some things would then be easier to understand.

I absolutly adore the cover of this book. 

I love blue, I love nature and my favorite animals are wolfs and tigers. I can't wish for more :p.

Skye is kinda awesome and around the same age as me :D

Romance: 3/5 
You can see it coming from the beginning of the book. But Raphael is kinda sweet :)

Action: 3/5
